About Nick

With a combination of formal training, immense imagination and extensive stage time Nick Johnson has made a name for himself as a singer/songwriter and performer. Nick is a regular on Broadway in Nashville where he’s been kicking butt with voice and guitar most nights at The Second Fiddle, The Stage and others. Nick also recently shared his light on the national stage, opening for Alan Jackson on his Last Call: One More For The Road! tour.

Nick’s musical career began in New York City when he and his first guitar Betty Jean became inseparable pals. Since then he’s led a half-dozen local and regional bands, written and recorded nearly 100 songs and taken the stage in New York, Boston and Los Angeles as a home town favorite. He now calls Nashville home.

Trained at famed Berklee College Of Music, Nick has travelled the hard road from school to stage and learned countless lessons along the way. One important stop was as a manager and teacher at the School Of Rock where he mentored others on their own musical journeys. That gave birth to Nick’s drive to give back by sharing his experience with young people, helping them to grow musically and explore the potential of music to enrich their lives.
